I really wish this war would end. This is not about weapons. My concern is what about the children who need to be in school. I have never been in a war zone, but how are they able to learn and cope with what is going on around them. I am really looking into more information to help them. I know Obama is in the process of ending the war, but I really feel for the children. They have seen so much and seen their family members die because of nonsense.
Kelsy, I agree with you. The war in Iraq has gone on for 10 years. That means there are shool children who have never lived in a time of peace and safety. We need to think of what this long term stress is doing to their country. I'm not a politician and I don't have the answer but I do know that when these kids are growing up in constant danger, the long-term prognosis for their develpment is not good.
